The Adoption Resource Consultants program serves children in the foster care system, under supervision of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), who have a permanency goal of adoption and have been legally free for adoption for one year or longer without an identified adoptive resource. The Adoption Resource Consultant (ARC) shall have a master’s degree in social work or a related field, and demonstrated expertise in developing permanent life-long connections for children in foster care, the adoption process and recruitment of adoptive parents.
