What is Families First?
Families First of Michigan program is an intensive home-based program, assisting families in crisis. Intensive services are provided for a period of 4-6 weeks. Families First of Michigan workers spend an average of 10 face-to-face hours with families per week.
Together, the Families First of Michigan worker and family develop and address goals aimed to resolve challenges faced by the family. During the intervention the Families First of Michigan worker is available to families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the event of an emergency.
