Orchards Summer Adventures

Remember childhood summers?  Endless days filled with what seemed like millions of fun things to do--swimming, camping, playing baseball, fishing--and creating wonderful, lifelong memories.  For kids without resources, summer days can just seem endless, filled with nothing but boredom and loneliness.

Orchards Children's Services is partnering with Detroit area agencies and camps to change that.  We are seeking support from private donors to launch a program that will turn summers into a time of making friends, learning new skills, building self-esteem and most importantly--mastering new skills and exploring different areas of learning.
